PACE, PLC is owned by Emma B. Jurrens, PhD, a licensed clinical and certified school psychologist.  Dr. Jurrens created PACE, PLC in an effort to help schools and organizations find and retain top-quality staff, and to ensure that staff are able to perform effectively on the job, thereby providing the best possible service to their students and clients.

As a practicing psychologist, Dr. Jurrens continues to see clients, focusing her work primarily on children with academic and behavioral concerns.  Dr. Jurrens enjoys diagnostic work, and has evaluated and worked with hundreds of students.

Dr. Jurrens received her doctoral degree in Guidance and Psychological Services, with a specialization in School Psychology, at Indiana State University, and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Troy State University.  She has worked in fields of psychology and education for over 13 years, with specific experience in healthcare management, early childhood through post-graduate education, and clinical & school psychology practice.  Dr. Jurrens is an active researcher and frequent speaker at national and regional conferences.  She has a broad range of research and applied interests, including staff recruitment and retention, gifted education, teacher training, early childhood education, curriculum-based assessment, and empirically-based intervention.

Sara Davis, PhD is the owner of KidPsych, Inc, and a frequent collaborator with Dr. Jurrens.  She is an expert in infant and preschool assessment and mental health.  Dr. Davis is actively engaged in early intervention and is on the faculty of Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
